I am sure this is an easy question but anyway..

Sometimes when driving my N reg 306 there is a noise that sounds like the
indicator is on, but it doesnt not appear to be (I cant really stick my
head out the window and look, but the lights on the console don’t light up)
so any idea whats wrong and how serious it is?

I am guessing that whatever controls the timing of the indicators is lose
and so sometimes it activates by itself, but the lights dont come on as
they need the indicator stalk to be in a certain position to work?

has anyone here raised the rear suspension on their 406? what was it like,
difficult, easy? What was involved?
I tow with a 1.8, 16valve  saloon, and I find that the rear is a bit soft
and too bouncy, so I would like to get it raised. I have heard you can do
this in the 406, anyone else done this?

I’m trying to identify part numbers for the drivebelts for a 1990 405
diesel (non-turbo), with power steering, no a/c.

I need the alternator drivebelt,
power steering drivebelt
and brake vacuum pump drivebelt.

I’ve looked around my haynes manual and can’t figure out what’s what.
and pugspares.com doesn’t help (not in their listings anyway).
Anyone?
